Apples are at the farmer’s market and I’m feeling all fall and festive. I bought a big basket of apples today and make some applesauce for Chase and to use it in this cake per the recipe. The cake is good but the batter is delicious. No really, the batter was good I don’t care if you’re not supposed to eat raw eggs. The cake came out moist and delicious and tender as promised and they didn’t skimp on the topping either which I like. I didn’t have patience to look for my 13×9 so I made a 9×9 and a loaf pan that I’ll freeze for later.
