Nerf life is a new concept I learned about today. I assure you I have to problem with the concept of nerf life and think I could easily adapt to it.
Our new sitter came today. She really seems to have a good vibe with Chase. I’m really hoping that this works out. It was hard to make the decision to let the other one go but I’m sure that we did the right thing. She’ll be back on Thursday but I don’t have class so I’ll be home to observe. This is a big change for me. The old me (the BC me… before Chase) would probably have let it slide. It’s been a real eye opener to see how easily being an advocate for your child comes. I still find it hard to challenge doctors but Ben is really good at it so he picks up where I leave off.
I think coffee has lost all of its power over me. I was literally falling asleep while sipping a cup in class last night. I should do some research on the symptoms of caffeine overdose. What will I do if the coffee stops working? Anyone have any ideas for something stronger?? Speaking of coffee, Chase and I checked out a new place today. Red Canoe is a nice little spot not to far from here. They have story time once a week and a nice seating area where kiddos can play and hang out. Additionally, I had this raspberry thing that was crazy delicious and they serve Zeke’s coffee. I’m glad that we finally checked this place out. I’m going to add it to my list of things to do during the week. Not only because it’s a nice place to hang out but because they have free parking… critical.
