Sundays are for pancakes. Heart shaped pancakes made from free sample heart-shaped pancake molds from Williams-Sonoma. I’ve been moving them around for years even though I could never fathom a time when I’d take the time to make someone a pancake shaped like something other than a circle. But the day did come. I made heart pancakes for my girl and she loved it. I think I’ll always make her pancakes hearts from now on.
Spring is here! I love that the weather has been fabulous for the last two weekends. I did a little more spring cleaning and Ben built another raised bed planter for out back. It’s amazing how much easier it is to get some work done with the sun shining. The only thing that could make this weekend better is another day. Three days would have been much better than the two we got. Two days for the weekend is just never enough.
I pulled out the old play tent again. I was going to get rid of this sad little play… thing, I don’t even know what to call it that we have out in the yard. I gave it one last shot, putting the tent up over it to help keep Chase from bumping into the sides and knocking it down and to add a little interest. I think it works. I think I’ll hold on to it for a little while longer.

sample pancake molds? more like stolen! they guy put them in my bag while he was running on and on about bridal registry and we just… forgot to say anything. yes, forgot.
That is not at all how I remember it. I thought we just found them in the bag when we got home!
Love Chase’s circular saw! I have yet to pull out Abby’s Christmas Tools, and she somehow has not noticed! Maybe that will be my project for tonight while Anny is out.
Glad your weekend was productive. I’m waiting to have one of those “productive weekends” sometime soon…
