This recipe comes from last month’s Everyday Food. Growing up we would make lemon cake from a box topped with dream whip and sliced strawberries. This is the ideal homemade substitute. I wish I knew the proper name for the type of frosting that accompanies the recipe because it’s dreamy. I’ve never made anything like it.
