My super crazy talented friend and creator of Sweet Pepita clothing Shannon announced yesterday that her new line of Sew Sweet Pepita patterns are in stock in her shop right now! I was lucky enough to test this pattern and get a sneak peak at the goods. So stinkin’ cute. So cute that I squeezed my more like 24 to 36 month sized baby into a 6 to 12 month sized shirt just to see how cute it really was.
The pattern was a breeze, really. It’s a construction process that I wasn’t familiar with because I’ve never made anything with the overlapping shoulder/neck seam arrangement but it’s so easy. Really, shockingly easy. The trim takes a minute to get the hang of but after you work with it for a few minutes it becomes more intuitive.
You can’t just make one of these shirts. So pull out the whole box of concert t’s that you can’t bear to part with, order yourself a pattern and get crackalacking. I’m going to place my order for 3t soon so I ddon’t have to answer any more questions like mom, where’s the rest of my shirt??
