I bought this pattern after seeing it put together on a display at the fabric store. It’s a simple and sweet jumper, nothing too fancy but there’s something really special about it. It has a little bit of a vintage feel to it. I think it has something to do with the length. I love it, I think it’s super sweet and I’m going to make another one tonight… or tomorrow with owls!
For the jumper, I chose a flannel. Why flannel? I saw this fabric lying on the overstock shelf beside a really cute coordinating knit (that I used to do a top later) and that’s how I chose. Before I ever touched the fabric on the bolt. But I figure, you can wear a flannel shirt so why not? It looks comfy anyway. I went out later and bought some tights but I’m thinking knee socks are cute. I just have to find them in the right color, white I guess if nothing cuter turns up.
And there’s the top in the last picture. Also easy to put together in a short amount of time AND part of the same pattern. Awesome. Have I mentioned that I love simple quick projects? I finally got to give my button kit a go too and made some covered buttons for the front. I recommend this pattern as quick with clear and easy to follow instructions. It’s a keeper.

Cute! I also love the boots, where did you get them? I’d probably do knee socks too, or thinner leggings. Maureen is short and tights tend to fall down and get wrinkly around her ankles.
