Ben’s Beanie

library-311It’s done!  So I ask him to put it on so I can take a picture.  And this is what I get.  You make a simple request like ‘look normal’ and this is what you get.  But if you’re really clever, like I am, you will pretend that you’re done and then suddenly and shockingly insist that your subject just, ahem… farted.  library-314Then, if you’re really quick about it, you can get something more natural like this.  But you have to be quick because if you’re huge and slow moving, it will be blurry.

I used the Beanie pattern from Men’s Knits by Erika Knight.  It’s super easy because it’s not knit in the round but you do have to have the patience to do the seaming which can be tricky to get to look right.  Especially on something like a beanie that’s meant to stretch.  It took me more than one attempt to get it right but I’m pretty happy with the result.  I think he is too.
