I wish I was feeling as happy as these two. I’m a total basket case today. Suffering a little emotionally but I’ll get over it. Just sooner rather than later I hope. Maybe a little retail therapy would help? Just a little. Hmm.
So it turns out that the reason that Avery’s feet are filling out the toes of her pyjamas is that she’s growing! She had a two week follow up following her last appointment and she’s gone from 6 lbs 14 oz to 8 lbs 10 oz and picked up a 1/2 inch. Big girl!
I’m trying to make myself feel better by watching numerous episodes of 30 Rock so, back to it. Meanwhile, send me your best calming vibes.
My favorit is “Relax don’t worry. Have a homebrew.” Then I’d have one. Some times more. Some time the more the merrier. LOL hope that brought s mile to your face. Your beautiful girls brought one to mine. Chase has a beautiful smile.
I definitely feel that some retail therapy is called for. That’s how I got through it all. Just go in a favorite store, stroll around, look for all the deals, you know clearance, etc. Buy things you really don’t need, but can put away for presents for others. Remember, birthdays, holidays, Christmases keep one coming. There is always a reason to buy!! But just the general merchantile (Did I spell that right?) atmosphere will uplift your spirits. That and getting out of the house for no good reason at all!
Kisses and hugs to my adorable, incredible girls. You two make them great!
I told Ben you said it was ok. :)
I like the idea of retail therapy. I’ll go with you and we’ll have an awesome time, even if we don’t buy anything. Window shopping therapy? Hang in there! You are awesome! :)
You’ll come? That would be awesome and we could drink coffee and pepsi all the while!
I indulged in a little retail therapy last week, and it felt great! Especially since I bought things I knew would fit like sunglasses and earrings, lol.
I just recently discovered how satisfying buying sunglasses can be, enjoy!
