Today brought some unexpected dinner guests and a little more fun, singing and cake. Fun. singing, cake and a lot of playing. We’re trying to figure out what to do about the toy situation. I don’t want to get rid of anything because I figure Avery will be big enough to play with it soon enough but at the same time, something’s got to give. There are just far too many toys in the living room. Some of them can go upstairs but I think it’s time for some of them to go into the basement for a while to make room for the new toys from Christmas and her birthday. Read the rest of this entry »

I’ve been neglecting this space lately. I’m thinking it has something to do with the recent ringing in of the new year and the reflection that’s supposed to come along with it. The last couple of posts that I wrote were getting there but I just don’t think that I have the capacity for any serious self reflection right now.
