How I love the ACC show! This is the third year I’ve made the trek down there for it but the first time I’ve been for free and you know how I love free! Another week over. Tomorrow is just jam packed with stuff to do. ACC here we come! I’m in the market for some new mugs. I bought a set of two nice porcelain mugs not too long ago but as we were down to nothing two just isn’t going to cut it.
I can’t believe how excited I am to go to this show. Ben and Chase are going to have some daddy daughter time because I just don’t think she’d have much fun with my yelling don’t touch that! the whole time.
I’ve got my battery charged, I’m ready! Stay tuned.

This whole sitting propped up thing is changing everything! I don’t know how or when this happened. Didn’t we just bring her home!? I didn’t even really think to try to see if she could do it. Ben’s the one, the kamikaze, who propped her up on the couch first. I just had her lying down all over the place. Poor girl because it turns out that she loves to sit up and look around. On Monday I was actually ready to commit. After dropping Chase off in the morning I went straight to the camera store and you know what? It was closed. The stinking place was closed. I can’t even remember how many cupcakes I’ve consumed in the last 24 hours. Probably fewer than Chase but I know she’s got me on candy. She had candy this morning before she had Cheerios. I can remember my mother giving me little plastic hearts filled with Smarties for Valentine’s day. I wanted something similar for Chase but the closest I could find was a little heart tin filled with m & m’s. They taste nothing like Smarties but I think it’s probably the closest substitute. I dug it out of the closet. I had NO idea that what was inside the box was a whole pile of bags full of teeny tiny little plastic bits that had to be assembled per the 15 pages of instructions in order to look anything like the picture on the box. So many tiny pieces! It did seem to be fun to play with though so I guess it was worth it.
