And watching tv thank God. Which is to say we still have power. It flickered once earlier and I became so panicked that I actually felt my adrenaline surging. PBS is airing Faces of America tonight which I’ve been looking forward to watching for some time. You’re Sweet
One of our projects today was sponge stamping. I finally broke down and called my gp for advice on what to do and she called in antibiotics for me. While I was at Safeway (best pharmacy ever!) I picked up a four pack of sponges for $1.50. They were pretty much the only thing left in the store. There was nary an onion in the produce section. Why the onions? Onions and peppers. Imagination
I like encouraging Chase to play and use her imagination. This morning she got out a paper punch and made tickets for riding the dinosaur train after which I found this little scene. SnOMG
I know you’ve already heard it 100 times but it’s snowing… AGAIN. We’re supposed to get almost 3 feet of accumulation over the course of the weekend. That’s on top of last weekend’s snow that hasn’t yet completely melted. I’m telling you, in my experience, not a good thing. But I figure as long as we can make coffee we’ll be ok. Thank God for gas stoves. Even Chase is saying the snow is ridiculous. I know because she told me so. It’s a new word she’s trying out. She said it and I could see her look at me to see my reaction. Soup + Sandwich
Usually means Panera but not today. Today I tried something a little different. Ok, now don’t judge me. Instead of lunch at Panera we stopped somewhere a little bit different. Somewhere that serves up their food fried so deliciously golden brown that once you taste it you crave it fortnightly but will suffer mightily if you eat it that often.
