I don’t think Chase has ever been to an event like this before. Probably the first time she’s seen a dance floor. It took her a minute but she figured it out. The girl can cut a rug. She had a great time. I added all of the video to a playlist on youtube. I would have edited it down a little but Ilife ’09 doesn’t play nice with the Flip. I’m trying to figure out Adobe Premier but it’s a little intimidating.
We’re getting ready for Easter. It promises to be a monumental occasion. You see, that’s because, Chase still has a pacifier. It’s a big struggle. I don’t know how to get rid of it. So we’ve been talking about leaving it for the Easter bunny. Her pacifier and her pull ups, though she’s been out of those at night for a while now. I’m feeling 50/50 about whether or not she’ll actually go through with it. Something’s got to give though. If she doesn’t, it might just have to get lost but I don’t want to do that. Our pediatrician told me that we should expect to get rid of it by 4, 4! Of course we’re well on way to 4 at this point.
Now, if she does leave it for the Easter bunny what’s left in return should be pretty fantastic, no? When I try to picture what this might be what I picture is a giant bunny. The problem is I don’t really see the point of a giant stuffed animal and don’t want to deal with the weeks of having chocolate in the house that it will take to finish a giant chocolate bunny. So what to do? I picked up a couple of things. A rainbow pencil, a wind up chicken that hops… I don’t think that’s going to cut it. The other thing I don’t get about Easter is why you have to buy 3 giant bags of candy for 1 kid just so they can have a handful of different things. I guess if I liked candy it wouldn’t be such a big deal but who’s going to eat all of those leftovers? So tell me what you do for easter, I need some ideas.
I almost forgot the highlight reel. Just in case you wanted to see Ben do the chicken dance. But you’ll have to click through for that.
