Monday we had Spaghetti with tuna, lemons and breadcrumbs. This was a super quick and yummy dinner. I mostly keep lemon and tuna on hand. This is a ‘we have no excuse to order out’ dinner. Sometimes I make up pasta dishes that are kind of like this. Kind of but not nearly as tasty. This is a recipe worth keeping around. I never think about or take the time to toast breadcrumbs but they make an otherwise plain dish of pasta oh so delicious. Read the rest of this entry »

My whole day was great because I woke up this morning to an email from the folks at One Yard Wonders telling me that the project I submitted is going to be in the next book!. A Tale Of Two Scones
I love scones. I wish there were still some leftover from this morning. I’m regretting offering one to Ben this morning and letting Chase have a second one this afternoon. Here’s my dilemma. Friendly Trolls
We borrowed The Three Billy Goats Gruff from the library a few weeks ago. Anybody who’s been at the park with Chase since then knows that trolls and billy goats gets acted out a lot. Dinner This Week
I’m totally on a roll here. Well, except for the weekends. Apparently I don’t cook on weekends anymore. I was patting myself on the back for not going out to dinner even once this week. Of course, we went out to lunch not twice, not thrice but FOUR times since Thursday. Sigh. That kind of negates all of my hard work with dinner. Spring Cleaning
We’re the sloppiest, slobbiest people I know. I cut myself some slack because when cleaning gets done it’s most often done by me. Ben, on the other hand, just makes messes. Red Letter Day
For all of us. Avery is big enough to use the exersaucer and I can tell that a) she finds it incredibly exciting and b) she feels like a big girl using her toes to spin herself around. Projects
I just finished cutting out a new pair of comfy pants for myself. I don’t typically sew for myself. I lose interest too quickly in projects that aren’t finished in a day or two.
