I found these last night while I was digging out the storage space in the basement. I put them on but, uh, almost killed myself. It’s a good thing that Chase is easily impressed because I’m not as light on my feet as I once was. She, of course, demanded to try them on and try them out. which looked mostly like a lot of this…
We did pretty well at our sidewalk sale considering every single item for sale was destined for the Salvation army anyway. I’m not sure exactly how much money we made. Probably 25 or 30 dollars. Enough to go to Iggie’s for dinner. Makes it all worth it in my book.
I plan on killing a pitcher of iced tea to make up for sitting out in the super humid gross weather and not being able to take a shower for at least another hour. It’s sort of working. Not being forced to sit through X-Men would help too but you can’t have everything I guess.
I took that picture of Chase with the intention of saying that’s what a day of hard playing in the hot sun looks like but, as it turns out, it looks a lot dirtier than that. It involves mud and grass clippings, pizza sauce and more chocolate smears. Wow, it was a long day and a busy weekend.
