I bought about 40 pounds of organic heirloom roma tomatoes with absolutely no plan for them. Stay tuned on that one.
Avery really really pulled herself up ALL the way to her feet ALL by herself today! Twice! And I didn’t have my camera. Not even my phone. And when I rudely commandeered the birthday girl’s dad at a birthday party to commemorate the, possibly only a big deal to me, event? Well, she wouldn’t do it again.
We cracked opened a bottle of the relish that I made a few weeks ago. It was good! Way better than store bought relish. Which is great except we’ll have to eat a lot of hot dogs to get through it all.
I’m watching Slumdog Millionaire but sort of wishing that I wasn’t. Brutal.
The end will make it worth it, I promise :) I really enjoyed it.
Oh! And yay for Avery!! That’s very exciting. When do babies start walking?
Damn, you read that before I fixed all the typos didn’t you? Guess I shouldn’t try to write posts while trying to watch a movie like this. It had better be worth it! Argh. I mean honestly. For walking I guess about around a year is average I guess. She still hasn’t even figured out crawling!
hehe, i didn’t notice any typos! I’m not sure I can even spell my name right now…we’re in the middle of a growth spurt and JJ’s been feeding every hour since 4 am last night. UGH, soooo tired!

The major tomato purchase may have been inspired by all of the recent talk about homemade tomato sauce and salsa! :) That will be so much yummier and more healthy than canned tomatoes. The next thing we need to worry about are the linings of cans. Arghh! Too much to think about and evaluate when making decisions! You are going to have a busy week turning all of those tomatoes into something.
By the way, this is still coming to me by way of my hotmail account, which I am trying to figure out how to shut down. I think they make that purposely difficult or perhaps the hackers changed the programming on that as well. Anyway, please sign me up for the blog using my new e-mail address so I don’t miss them. Oh, I know. The can linings. I believe the lids for home canning jars are lined with the same way. One day I’ll buy some Weck jars. That would be awesome.
