This must have been Avery’s two busiest days ever. She woke up earlyish this morning. So I went and got her from her crib and brought her in bed with us hoping that she’d snuggle up and sleep for another hour or so. We both dozed and after a while I heard her start to babble a little. When I opened my eyes? She smiled at me and waved. Waved! It was so awesome. Then she looked at her hand like she couldn’t quite believe it herself.
So cute! I love the part where Chase says, “I’ll protect her” and then goes to sit in front of her to keep her from falling off the couch! She is such a great big sister, despite her having to adjust to Avery now wanting to hold her stuff! That is just a classic video you will want to show them over and over in the future to remind them of their sweet sisterly love, especially when they aren’t feelin’ it in the moment. :)
