Apple Picking

We picked three bags of staymans and a bag of fujis for eating.  And a big bag full of broccoli because it was fun.  So yesterday was goulash today was gumbo and tomorrow broccoli cheddar.  In other words, the soup  pot runneth over and I’m ok with that.  Even soup hating Ben had a second bowl of gumbo.  I’ve never made gumbo before.  The smell of flour “toasting” sure is interesting.  Anyway, happy weekend.  Looking forward to the next one.  Click on for the pictures.
