We now have four pumpkins, one for each of us, and just in time. Last year we opted out of Weber’s but I’m glad we went back. It’s close, familiar and Chase always has lots of fun. Who cares if it’s a total racket and part of the hay ride backs onto a sub development? Ben had to stand on the catwalk and yell NOW at the exact moment that Chase passed by an entrance to the hay maze so that I could tackle her and then gently assist her in exiting. I mean really. Between the hay maze and the slide she had A LOT of fun. Me? I’m partial to the donuts.
The bodice of Chase’s princess dress is finished and I’m almost done with the sleeves. I’m feeling a little bit like Cinderella while I slave away on it. I don’t know how I’m going to get everything done this week.
Chase worked on some treat bags today and drew cute pumpkins on some of them. Now I don’t want to give them away! I’m trying not to turn this place into a Halloween sweatshop. And I’m making a mental note NOT to forget to carve at least one pumpkin.
