It’s February! Can you believe that? Last year we went all out for Valentine’s Day. I think this year we’re going to keep it low key. BUT we’re still making valentines! I’m already armed with my copy of 101 Valentines Jokes. Plenty of good ones in there, let me tell you.
Last year we made these ones by cutting a kitchen sponge into a cute mouse shape and stamping tempera paint onto card stock. Then I just cut out around the stamping leaving about a 1/4″ border. Chase did the stamping and I drew the face and tail on with a sharpie. You have to wet the sponge a bit to do the stamping.
On the back? Some of the best puns EVER if I do say so myself. Please make these valentines, these puns deserve the chance to amuse again! I mean honestly, you probably have a sponge and paint at home. Isn’t that easier than driving to target? Though if you’re in the market I suggest these. Total cute.
