A few weeks ago I entered a contest to win one of these bags. I mean why not, right? It’s not like I was pining away for one or anything but they’re cute so I went for it. I never win anything anyway. Except that I won and now I’m not sure how we managed before the robot bag.
I keep saying I won but really Chase won. It’s her bag. She picked out the pink one and asked me everyday following the day I won it when it would get here. Well today it finally came. It arrived around 2pm, she ripped it out of the package, put it on and didn’t take it off again until she got in the bath. She wore it at the dinner table. She wore it at the playground. The robot bag has been here less than 12 hours but has already done plenty of adventuring. Chase says she loves it, she’ll never get mud on it. We’ll see about that.
I think that what I didn’t appreciate about the bag without seeing it in person is just how perfectly sized it really is. It is exactly the right size for four. It is exactly the right size for carrying, you guessed it, an army of strawberry shortcake dolls, crayons and paper or a flashlight. It’s sturdy and cute, cute, cute. A robot bag would make a super gift and Ellie Bellie Kids is local! The only problem that I didn’t anticipate is that I don’t need one… I need two! Oy. Little sisters.
Update: Robot bag is indeed tucked into bed. Between the nightcap, the bag, and the recently added charm bracelet/watch that girl likes to accessorize but maybe you can tell from the pictures.
