What? Yes, she’s eating a baby wipe. Or wiping her face and nose which is something new that she likes to do. The last week or so has been pretty big. Lots of new games to play and pretending. Avery likes to spend a little bit of time every morning at school with Chase and, I think, really fancies herself a big girl now.
I continue to be amazed by every developmental milestone that she masters. It’s truly amazing. I like the days when I’m amazed over the days when I feel compelled to refer to one of those year by year books. For the record, I don’t have one because I’d never put it down. She likes to play ponies and blocks. She has some new words too, baby, bubble, uh-uh, wawa, MOMMEEEEE. Sometimes, when my kids are running after me screaming my name and demanding my attention, I think this must be what it feels like to be a superstar.
She doesn’t only run after me though. She runs after her sister a fair bit and as much as I try to keep her in pants the season of skinned knees is upon us. In parting, a short video…
SO adorable! You have inspired me to get my video camera out more often. It captures stuff that still pictures just can’t. Love it!
oh wow! look at her go :)
Glad mine isn’t the only baby to occassionaly snack on a baby wipe.
I filled out S’s baby record book but J’s book has been gathering dust. Isn’t it fun to see them chase each other? Glad you’re enjoying the milestones!
Parenting almost of the time with babies entails responsibility and creativity in learning what their cry means. What a funny experience, you’ll gonna miss ’em when they get older.
