We worked on these together today. One regular princess and one butterfly fairy princess. She drew and cut the dolls and I worked on the dresses though she did help me some with the decorating. I was going for a peter pan style collar but it kinda just ended up looking like boobs. The green doll has a jewel encrusted necklace and you’ll notice that the nose on the big green doll is actually another tiny girl. The land of fairies!
So cool! Can’t make the picture big enough to see the fairy for a nose. How cute that she is so into making paper dolls right now and that you are working them together. Skyler has been busy making a book for his daddy for Father’s Day. This is reminding me to take a picture of that as well. We don’t seem to be getting to all of the other Father’s Day cards. Oh, I am raising a super detailed, procrastinating (a movie had to be watched for a break the other day) kid like myself…. and Eric! How do we teach our kids to be different from ourselves? I definitely facilitate both the being super ambitious in his projects and not getting everything done, and the procrastination even when we start days in advance!
Like right now because I am reading your blog and writing this long note instead of making his Father’s Day juice and getting my cards! I am so damn consistent!
