Later and we have enough gingerbread dough for a whole village of houses chilling in the fridge. We went to the candy stand at Belvedere Square last week but this year I didn’t micromanage the candy selection and so I’m not sure that what we picked it exactly right for a gingerbread house. Also, I might have to explain what happened to the gummy bears. But, what can I say, gummy bears are delicious. I used the same recipe from last year. I just hope that this year involves way less swearing.
I have so much to do this week and somehow most of it involves ordering stuff from Amazon. Tonight it was these because I have plans for rainbow beverages and Ben says I cannot serve Hugs. So… instead I’ll pour out 6 bottles of Sprite. We’ll see how this goes. My UPS driver probably things I’m one of those HSN ladies.
Are you homeschooling, or what?? I find that I am often saying derogatory things about myself on your blog comments section, but…. my afternoons often look like bringing Skyler home from school, him making his lunch and setting the table while I make dinner. We eat and then bedtime routine. There is not time for making gingerbread from scratch! I was just happy that I found a gingerbread house kit at TJs and hope that I can carve out some time to actually put it together and decorate it with the kids. Can’t wait to see how yours looks! I am constantly impressed by you!
