Well, we made it through Monday. Nothing particularly noteworthy was accomplished but we all ate breakfast, lunch and dinner and I still have plans to get some laundry done tonight so I’m claiming success.
A few things. I got this for Christmas. I love it. Totally brainless roast chicken. Everybody loves it and I use it all the time. I cover the drip pan with heavy duty foil and toss the rotisserie in the dishwasher. There’s barely anycleanup. It’s really heavy on the oven as opposed to the toaster. They don’t even call it a toaster oven but we’ve figured out how to make it work so we avoid also having a two slice toaster.
Target has kid’s Converse on clearance. They had lots of sizes when we were there today.
I’m going to NYC on Valentine’s day to be in the audience for the taping of the Martha Stewart baby shower show! I know, right?! I’m looking for input on train v. bus and logistical stuff like that about travel to NYC so fill me in.
I’ve been following this series at made by rae. I have my friend Shannon to thank for making me brave enough to work with knits. I’m itching to make something for myself and not just leggings for my kids (though I’ve gotten very good at that). Maybe one day. I still don’t like the relatively tremendous amount of fabric it takes to cover my body as opposed to theirs.
If you get WMPT this will be on tomorrow night. Cooking shows in primetime!
That’s it for now.
