Good Day
Easter 2012, Cylburn Arboretum. We hunted for eggs, had a little hike, a picnic and enjoyed the terrific weather. Dinner was slow roasted leg of lamb, roasted asparagus, parsley(ed?) potatoes and strawberry shortcake for dessert. I’m coming out of the best kind of food coma. How was your day?

Easter Preparations
We’re almost ready! I have to stuff a few eggs but we should be good to go. The girls were super excited at bedtime tonight. I know they can’t wait to hunt for eggs in the morning.
Lamb’s on the menu and maybe a picnic. We might just get to see a tulip or two tomorrow after all. Maybe I should check the weather? I’m looking forward to big smiles, fancy dresses and some low key quality time. Sounds doable, right?

Almost Easter

Weekending
We did it up right this time. No birthday parties or conferences or anything. Well, you know what we did yesterday. Today we got a late start… Chase didn’t get out of bed until 9:00! 9:00! Today was supposed to be better! And it was… mostly. Ben took the girls out this morning and I had a great visit with my good friend Erin and her sweet little boy.
