Chase has been bugging me to make her a doll for a week or two. I took out the Martha Stewart Craft Encyclopedia that I have, not surprisingly, never used. The doll, of course, is a princess. Morning
Morning was all mismatched socks and paper crowns and lots of books. I took all of the books off of the living room shelves and organized them. It’s true. I did. And the girls amused themselves. Bubbles and Berries
So, I saw this a while back and thought it was a totally brilliant idea. I’ve been looking and looking for just the right container and couldn’t seem to find one. Finally today I found an old Coleman cooler with the right kind of spout on it so I bought it. It’s way less cute than the one in the picture but perfectly functional and the bubbles work too! Six Rapunzels
Check any nook or any cranny in my house. There will be a paper girl in it. Ok, it’s not exactly fair to blame the stuffing of all nooks and crannies on the paper girls. The stuffing of nooks and crannies is mostly my fault. That being said, Chase is crazy for paper girls. She draws and cuts them out herself. This afternoon she made a unicorn for the biggest rapunzel to ride!

Super Girl
All day Avery toddles around the house finding things to dress up in. Necklaces are a big favorite. She also likes hats and bracelets. Last weekend we went to a super birthday party with a superhero theme and she was lucky enough to get her very own tiny cape. Every time she sees it she demands that I put in on her. She kills me with cute.
Also, I think it’s time for the giant misshapen wreath has to go. And I have some big plans for projects in the kitchen. If only I could find my sketchbook. I went out and bought it especially for recording my big ideas. I Used it once to sketch the strawberry shortcake hat and never saw it again. Maybe it ran away.
Sketchbook, come back! I promise to be good this time.

Friendly Trolls
We borrowed The Three Billy Goats Gruff from the library a few weeks ago. Anybody who’s been at the park with Chase since then knows that trolls and billy goats gets acted out a lot. Bigger Bear
