For all my complaining earlier this week the weather is now fantastic. Couldn’t be better. I’m loving summer right now. My kids are too. U Turn
If you guessed teething you were right. A quick survey of her gums late last week revealed a mouthful of assorted sharp protuberances. She certainly wasn’t miserable without reason. The good news is that in spite of a little bit of a stuffy nose she seems to be feeling like herself again. I have a whole pile of other stuff to do. I need to get back to this space soon! Chassé
We very seriously almost missed the performance. As in I was ripping of her coat and yelling go go go as her instructor walked toward the music. Not exactly parent of the year. It totally could have backfired too. Not only did I forget that she would be preforming but that also meant that I hadn’t warned her and she wasn’t expecting a room full of grownups to be sitting and watching but she danced her little heart out. I guess that’s what being four is about. Staying cool. I’m so proud of that girl!

A Movin And A Shakin
So she almost never sits down anymore. There is much standing and much crashing to the floor. And it seems that she’s moving from standing to cruising in just a matter of days. It’s really hard to keep up with. I’m glad that at least most of the crashing is now forwards rather than backwards. We were pretty tired of seeing her hit the back of her head on stuff but she seems to have found her center when sitting and moved on to bigger and better things. Read the rest of this entry »
